Dutch band Chomain Vasser consists of Rik (guitar), Rik, Cesco (drums), Joris (guitar), Patrick (bass) and Maries (guitar, vocals). Their music is described as Indie/Folk Rock and is influenced by artists like Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Nirvana, Mozart, Bonny 'Prince' Billy, Wu Tang Clan, Kool Keith, Beck, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Devendra Banhart, Sonic Youth, De La Soul, Public Enemy, Woody Guthrie, Hank Williams, Beethoven, Velvet Underground and Daniel Johnston.

Tonight they will perform at the opening reception of Rik Meijer’s debut at the gallery, entitled, I Am Still What I Wanted to Be, which will open on April 21st and continue through May 28, 2011.
