Internationally renowned Tineke Postma was New York recording at Systems Two with Terri Lyne Carrington for her new cd Mosaik featuring Esperanza Spalding, Ingrid Jensen, Geri Allen, Helen Sung, Gretchen Parlato and others.
Tineke has received several awards, among them the Jazz Juan Revelations Award 2009 (Antibes Juan-les-Pins Jazz Festival). The prestigious Midem “International Jazz Revelation of the Year Award” (2006), the “Jazz All Star Award” (2003) and the Dutch awards: Langs de Lijn Award (2007), Singer Laren Jazz Award (2002),Heijmans Award (2004). In 2008, Tineke had been nominated for another prestigious Dutch Prize: the Notenkraker Award. In 2009, she was nominated for the Paul Acket Award (North Sea Jazz). In 2010 Tineke was also nominated for the Paul Acket Award (North Sea Jazz).
